First Flight

........i'm being chased.........again...............
running full speed as fast as i can.....brushing past people......pushing through the crowd.......its gonna get me......i cant let it catch up with me............run...run iz! go!........
i push and the crowd dissipates.......and i'm looking at what on the outside seems like your regular urban neighborhood..............for me its my playground...........of concrete and steel........i wall-run the fence jump down and roll "damn" i lost momentum i gotta pick it up again.............i run as full speed vaulting over a rail in my way not loosing a single iota of speed or velocity.....its gonna get me...........i jump at the column in front of me rebounding as i turn the corner dashing into the parking lot then i wall run up the wall............its gonna get me.....................i dash as fast as i can.......balanced along this thin wall i made it on the ledge i dash to the edge and then i look down...........it caught up with me.........fear grips my chest.......self doubt......pity...........sadness.......hopelessness....it all catches up.............my rational mind.........i turn and walk of the roof................defeated............again.......hopeless and lost.....again...just...like allways.......then a voice comes out of nowhere......."just jump".........in defiance i turn and dash at the edge of the roof............heart beating ten times faster then i can run.....the adrenaline pumps into my bloodstream.......time slows down........and then.........i jump........flying through the air........i've gotten my deepest desire.........i got wings.................then i land on the concrete ground below......it ending as abruptly as it started..........i roll into impact.....the ground shaking below me........i did it............i made the jump unscathed..............i get up.....i have to run .......then i realize........
