Districts were saturday, I was really exsited to go...Besides having to get up reaaalllly early in the morning
We took the bus to the highschool were the compition was held
At 8 a.m we were forced to sit in the aditorium at the centenial there are like 7 different theatre departments from other school
we sorta just ventured around a bit, Till this really cool kid from the school in sandy came to are section and showed me some card tricks [Btw, I also found out magic is scary] but still really cool
at about 10, everyone got put in the cafiteria and everyone just sorta hung out there untill the solo scenes were up for judeging, then duo's were up.
I was really exsited when we got put in the same juding room as tobin [the card guy] and we shook hands and talked for a bit then we proformed
she gave a pretty good score, but all threw the scene I was worried because I left all my stuff out in the cafiteria, like my scetch book my manga and food...So I'm like "s**t...I hope no one steals are stuff" I was happy to come back and see someone had coverd my stuff with my bag leaving it out of site, and all my stuff was there, So I yelled out "THANK YOU MAJICAL BACKPACK FAIRY!" and someone in the cafiteria yelled "YOU'RE WELCOME" Kinda disapointed I didn't get to see who it was...But thank you back pack fairy
We ate lunch and went to are next jugding, We had alot of spare time between each scene so me and katie started coming up with a really complicated high five, and are second round of judging was really tense, So me and katie did are high five, and sorta broke the ice in the room when a girl laughed and was like "that's awesome"...Made me feel cool
Are last sceance was reaaaaaalllly far away so we played the floor is lava, made a SUPERLY more complicated and showed some people it, then tobin shoed us more card tricks, and we finally got to the last round and sat in frount of this kid named robby and his friends, they were sooo funny, And there scene was from doubt really dramatic I loved it!
after that it was awards, Are school tanked but are scores were pretty good
My highist score from are scene was 17/20 and we got some good feed back
I intend going back next year, It was super fun
