Everything has changed; I used to know what happy things were
Friends and laughing and teasing, it seems so long ago
Everything has changed, and there is no one to blame but myself
I feel so sad and alone, just wanting them back
But I don’t know what I can do, what I can try
They seem so far away from me now
Like I don’t know who they are, different people than what I remember
I act like everything is alright; I smile and try to fit in with them
But they make me feel like a third wheel, an outcast…
Am I to blame for trying to fit back in, to relate?
Or is this the way it’s supposed to be…?
