A Kiss of Sorrow
How not to love you is something my heart never knows.
For every time I fall for you my love steadily grows.
And even though I love you, you still love to hurt me so
That every time I see you pain is all my heart will know.
The pain I feel for loving you has filled my heart with woe
Such that my heart is frozen as though encased in snow.
Oh how I wish we had not kissed, for now I'm filled with sorrow
And I don't think my heart can stand to live another morrow.
