Kylanda Fans really hate me, I'm a logical person, and I explain my thoughts in detail a person who has hated me since I participated in a game on the KyleXyNet forum posted in response to an ABCFamily Blog: Whoever posted this blog isn't a real fan of the show or they would know how easy this theory is to disprove. In 2.1 "To C.I.R. with Love", Jessie's and Kyle's minds link up, Stephen asks Kyle to explain how that is even possible. Kyle's explanation is that Jessie's and his brains are like super computers that can wirelessly link up. The reason they are farther apart has nothing to do with it, that can be easily explained by both of their abilities have increased significantly, and so it has absolutely nothing to do with them being soulmates (unless you are thinking of something other than romantic). Kyle had no romantic feelings for Jessie when their minds first linked up. Please this theory was to make Kyle and Amanda fans waver?
I don't like the idea of calling Kyle and Jessi Computers: so I set about explaining why:
I don't like the computers theory, it's too impersonal. I think that Kyle and Jessi, are two people who are unique only unto themselves, nobody can do what they can do, nobody can understand the complex emotions they share over literally being nothing but a couple of science experiments. As for soul mates, while I'm a Kessie fan, I don't think it makes romantic sense. At the end of season 1, the woman at Zzyzxx stood over Jessi's pod and said "781228 is in perfect condition." And we may remember, Kyle was scheduled to be terminated by Kern for two reasons, he failed the Strategic Warfare Data Input Retention Tests, but making "Judgement calls" (that's Adam's boy for you) and he downloaded the entire Zzyzxx mainframe. Jessi was never scheduled for termination, one would have to assume she took the warfare into, solved it and gave it back like a good little clone. (Hmmm seems to me that's something Sarah might have done, just to prove she was better... smarter.) This is also part of the aptly named "Darkness" that seems to reside within Jessi. Soul mates, I believe are not simply two parts of a whole, not ROMANTIC soul mates anyway. I believe that Kyle and Amanda were truly soul mates for one simple reason. The first time they looked into each other's eyes you knew they were going to be together (how did I get so invested in the romantic theories?) As for Latnok, we've been led to assume the Latnok is the bad guy in the story, Adam and Sarah may have "run away" but we forget that before the whole kidnapping thing, Baylin described them as being "Great thinkers, and humanitarians." and Sarah said "They're not bad, they're just scientist, with a very clinical way of going about things. I think joining with Latnok, now that our beloved friend Adam has passed away... (again) might be good for Kyle, who better to train him on understanding, and controlling his abilities than the people who helped create, and understand what he's capable of. Sure we don't trust them, YET, but even Julie said "Nobody is ever TRULY evil on Kyle XY." The pink goo... you have to think there's some sort of Cord Stem Cells in this pink goo, as that is what the CSC research is all about, it's a healing agent, not only that but it kept Kyle and Jessi nourished and Oxygenated in the pods, CSC are in the blood of the umbilical cord, and it's often collected to maybe one day help the mother or father, or the child should they ever be seriously injured or sick. So if Zzyzxx was able to create a compound that acted like a CSC infusion, it makes scientific sense (hmmm babies are fed, nourished, and oxygenated through the umbilical cord, Kyle and Jessi had none, the pink goo acted as amniotic fluid, AND umbilical cord...) The pink goo is, in my scientific opinion, man made stem cells.
Logical, and complete, ah but my nemisis only read the first five words and went about denouncing me:
you may not like the theory but it is by completely show logic, when a character says it you have to accept is as truth. Basically your explanations says the exact same thing with using the word "computer.
First of all great job at punctuation, capitalization and LOGIC.... now pay closer attention to what I'm saying! So I responded, perhaps rather too snarky than I had initially intended: Perhaps yes, but what you missed, is that the use of the word computer, I meant I did not care for in describing the romantic relationship between the two. Computers don't have "souls" we can't deny Kyle and Jessi as being human, that is where emotion, love and romance exist. The computer part of their existance only explains how their minds work and not their hearts. As for accepting waht a character says as truth... everybody lies. And it was Balantine was the one who called them wireless computers, I wouldn't trust someone who would put Kyle in a position that could fry his mind, and cause him to arrest. There are cases where the term "Wireless Computer" works, but only in the way their brains work, and connect. Again, it is the using it as reason why they are "soul mates" that I don't like. After all... when did a "computer" gain a soul? Hmm to think to think to think... you silly goose, let us see how you will respond to computer romance now, And for heaven's sake don't gets so worked up when you see the words "Kessi Fan"! I explain in full that if soul mates do exist within the show, Kyle and Amanda are the "it" couple.
Let me know what you all think... or if you can even follow my madness.
