This is a poem about Leviathan - The Angel of Death. Leviathan is an ambiguous angel in that some believe he is a good angel while others do not. I personally thing Laviathan is an evil being of hatred and destruction.
Breaths of ghosts and shrouded years
Grace the waiting, nervous ears
Shadows of the starless sky
Shadows of the demon's cry
Shadows that live and flit and play
Shadows that sleep no more at day
Looking out from the silent beyond
Shrinking no more from the day that's dawned
The shadow watches with impetuous eyes
Waiting to strike
Waiting to rise
Waiting to loose the darkness within.
Ready to attack; the shadow grins
It waits for that moment that will end our days
And with the flash of a sword it takes all who stray.
