Just for an assignment I had to do on Palindrome Poems. As you can see, this is why I'm not a poet. The last few are all just different versions of the second one. _______ Dancing near the doors, And I fell to the floor, My head dizzied (I could have sworn he had left). My world moved Arms moved
And we breathed, And we breathed,
Arms moved My world moved (I could have sworn he had left) My head dizzied And I fell to the floor, Dancing near the doors. ____________________________________________________
Walking down to the docks alone, I saw him Hands in pockets, Without a care in the world.
Without a care in the world, Hands in pockets, I saw him Walking down to the docks alone. ________________________________________________ Walking down to the docks alone, I saw him Hands in pockets, Without a care in the world. _ But I should have joined him, I was afraid to be like him Since he had nothing to fear. I knew I should go, but I could not. I knew I should go, but I could not. Since he had nothing to fear I was afraid to be like him; But I should have joined him-
Without a care in the world, Hands in pockets, I saw him Walking down to the docks alone. _____________________________________________________ Walking down to the docks alone, I saw him Hands in pockets, Without a care in the world.
Day after day, After we caught eyes, We said nothing.
After we caught eyes, Day after day, Without a care in the world, Hands in pockets, I saw him Walking down to the docks alone. __________________________________________________
