The description I originally had for my Avatar Arena entry, but alas, a 1000 word cap...dang it all. Here it is if you're interested~!



The Ninja Samaritan! I must warn you, before reading on, you will see dorky symbolism and/or references. And the description is long, if you don't want to read much, read only the next paragraph. If you're interested in a detailed explanation on the symbolism of everything I have equipped, then read it all~! But without further ado, let the description continue!

I chose the title "Ninja Samaritan" by deriving it from ninjas and good samaritans. I myself have played the role of a good samaritan a few times (It's how I met my girlfriend and no, I didn't save her.); to do this, I practiced martial arts (A form of Taijutsu included in the list, hence "ninja". XD). Aside from that, ironically I have a love for ninjas (Hmmm, I wonder why? XD). So yes, to a small extent, this is a representation of myself and mostly of a dream image of myself (something I've always wanted to do, letting my inner child rule and wanting to be a hero some day.)

Symbols:
Light Dragon thingy- I'm Chinese and though I don't believe in traditional Chinese beliefs, I am born year of the Dragon in the Chinese Zodiac. In common mythologies, dragons are fierce and strong, and in that, my little friend here will kick anyone's a** trying to do the wrong thing (Oh, I love interventionism, but I don't support Bush a whole lot, trust me). I chose the Light Dragon, rather than the Dark one, obviously because he fights for what he believes to be right, and he will fight at his best no matter the opponent.


The typical, and mostly rather cheap RadiCOOL Blackout shirt, GetAGrip pants (okay, not THAT cheap), and the boots (I forget what they're called and comp is too laggy to check) represent the fact that he is indeed a common civilian. He's just trying to survive like anyone else, living day-to-day life of the ordinary, simply stepping in every once in a while where he can.

The assassin hood and katar mix depicts his style in combat. He's fast, concise, accurate, and utilizes feints at their best potential. Deceiving and tricking opponents, finishing them within a few moves (at least the common grunts), all the while keeping his identity hidden. He's not fond of publicity afterall.

The gothic veil and assassin hood mix also represent his dislike for his identity to be revealed. Yet combined with the Winter Rose [petal rain] in this manner, it also shows he likes a good style, things are fun when they're flashy, just like Reno of Final Fantasy VII (if you see him with the hood down, his hair is cool too, spiked back if you know what I'm talkin' about). This part was inspired by that classic ninja/samurai (usually samurai sadly) scene, with them fighting or some romantic/serious moment in a flurry/rain of sakura petals.

I also wanted to add a "..." mood bubble, to show his silence. Unless spoken to first of course, he isn't rude. But alas, I have no Gaia cash, nor a PayPal account to use. XD

Lastly, but CERTAINLY not least, is the Frostbite saber. The Chinese jian or the chokutou are my favoured swords, despite the katana being superior. I'm often described as a water element kind of person and all that, but my fave derived/tangent element is definitely ice. The ice element also shows his personality in public (being in the foreground, therefore seen more often as), which is cold and decisive. Wow, what a loner (actually I am too most of the time, haha.).
