so much easier to just do this...



Alice follows the White Rabbit for no real reason. She has nothing to do and he seems interesting; though she knows she shouldn't follow him, she does. Along the way she looses him and takes advice from the Cheshire Cat. The Cat gets her even more lost, even more confused than she already was; but he does bring her to an amazing place. Wonderland? It's what she's told and for a time she's actually happy. Though the Cheshire Cat repeatedly sends her away, amongst people as mad as he. Yet she still blindly follows the Cheshire Cat into the clutches of the Red Queen. A fake smile and nice words are given to Alice whilst the Cheshire Cat is nowhere to be found for either of them; more fake happiness, more lies. But the Cheshire Cat comes back and the two-sided Queen flips; she's back to her old self again. Running and trying to escape, Alice's dream turns into a nightmare. She sees that now, but now it's too late; Alice is trapped and can't get out. Trying desperately, she screams at herself to wake up; but it's all in vain. Ensnared in the claws of the Cheshire Cat, constantly taunted by the Red Queen; Alice won't be freed. She's hurt, she's lost and she's alone, in this nightmarish Wonderland, she's afraid she'll never get away from.

Poor Alice, her world's fallen down around her feet- she's got nowhere to go and no one to help her.
No longer as blind, no longer as trusting.
She wouldn't believe the Cheshire Cat was letting her out even if he did offer.
To put her well being in the claws of the Cheshire Cat, who has betrayed and hurt her far too deep and far too frequently.
It's not something she can manage to do.

Why trust a Cheshire Cat anyways?
A pretty smile; they seem to always lie through their teeth.
You are nothing more than a toy to them to begin with.
A little toy that wandered into their midst and that they care nothing about.
Who would ever want or protect a broken marionette?
Old fashioned and useless, it's completely pointless.

For that's what Alice is; an old fashioned marionette.
Discarded for a shiny new dolly; kicked around on occasion.
And the silly puppeteer, he can't seem to bring himself to actually throw her away.
Not just yet at least.

Silly little Alice, listening to the forked tongue of the Cheshire Cat. He only ever loved the thrill blindly leading you away and hearing you scream.
