I seem to find myself growing slightly depressed with each passing second for a very awkward reason.
Square Enix, the gods of the Final Fantasy genre and the creators of the Massively Multi-player Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG), Final Fantasy XI: Online, have thus released their first look at their newest Expansion Pack, Wings of the Goddess.
Why does such a thing make me uneasy? Is it the Winter 2007 release? The fact that I may not have the money to buy it? Or that they may not release a new job this time around, even though Time Mage would totally fight right in with the whole "world of the past" theme of this expansion pack? Although those are good ideas, no; that's not it.
What makes me uncomfortable is that, with the new Expansion Pack, will come a plethora of new missions! Now, let's take a look at my current mission completion status, shall we?
Starting Nation Missions: Mission 6-1 of 9-2 (8 more Missions to completion.)
Rise of the Zilart Missions: Mission 13 of 17 (4 more Missions to completion.)
Chains of Promathia Missions: Mission 4-2 of 8-4 (16 more Missions to completion.)
Treasures of Aht Urhgan Missions: Mission 12 of 33 (21 more Missions to be up to speed.*)
51% Storyline Completion...I'm very behind...
I would be forever grateful if I could get a group of good friends together to help blast through the rest of these missions. I kinda want to be completely up to date with everything for the new Expansion Pack, though I highly doubt that's ever gonna happen. gonk I guess the only thing that I can hope for now, is that Square Enix waits a while before releasing the fifth Expansion Pack...
*: The Treasures of Aht Urhgan Expansion Pack's story has yet to come to a close. As it stands, Square Enix still adds more and more missions...
Additional Note: For the sake of my sanity, Assault Missions were not added, as they have no direct influence on the actual Storyline Missions.
