Summer is right around the corner and I can feel it coming full force.
It comes at you with the intensity of a freight train and makes you completely bored. It prevents you from enjoying anything that was once interesting and makes it so you end up doing absolutely nothing all day. I believe the correct term is: Lazy Summer.
It's one of the few things I actually hate about summer vacation. Lately, I've been so fantastically bored that nothing seems appealing. I've tried playing video games, reading, watching TV, writing, and even role playing, which I normally love! gonk
It's completely awful. What's worse is that I know I want to do them, but I just can't muster up the enthusiasm to do it. I have no idea what to do anymore.
The only things I seem to have energy to keep doing are school (refer to my previous journal entry) and doing research for Kumoricon.
For those of you who don't know, Kumoricon is an Anime convention in Vancouver, Washington. I was invited to go by a group of friends and, for my cosplay, I am going as Vexen from Kingdom Hearts: (Re smile Chain of Memories. I'm still quite behind doing what needs to be done to make my it a success.
In any case, unless other people have ideas to fight Lazy Summer, this may very well be the most boring 3 months of my life...
