Have you seen that little something?
Just a glint in the eye,
a sound, a voice, a smell.
Just something that is there.
So near and yet to far to grasp.
It wanders floating in and out,
a sweet melody that brings along
even sweeter memories.
A dark farmiliar horror
that creeps into the soul
on those dark and dreary days.

It's just those little things in life
that make us stop and stare in wonder
or in horror
The things that make us all ourselves
they make the sun set and the moon rise,
the earth turns, and children cry.
And every day is new.
And exciting.
