Shiro crept silently back to the other girls, pulling open the sleeping bags. Roux was there. Sain was- not. So that was why he seemed so heavy....
She mused as she looked at the rock laid in his place. Signalling to Sabishi, Shelby shone her flaming torch into the Sain-Thing face. No. It wasn't Sain. Then....where was he? Shelby looked on as Sabishi approached the thing. It wasn't possible for them to beat a gargantuan creep like that. But then it appeared Sabishi was...negotiating with it?
And then Roux decided to wake up.
His eyes widened as he pointed to Sabishi and the thing, his open sleeping bag and Shiro behind him with a drawn katana. "Wha-"
His protest was muffled as Shiro pushed a cloth into his mouth. It wasn't good to let the creature know that Roux had awoken. Shelby punched him lightly, as if to tell him not to talk before watching Sabishi again.
To be continued....
