Just got a call from my brother, and my dad was just taken into the hospital. So of course, I'm worried to all hell, because I can't afford to visit him at this time, and I really don't want him to die yet. His health hasn't been great, but he's seemed better.

My brother didn't have any information, so I'll be dreading my aunt and uncle calling all night. What if he dies? What then?

I can't handle that phone call right now.

I can't even go and post in LI, because of all the stupid ******** trolls that keep coming back. I think I'll go .. freak out over.. on the couch now.

Update: Aunt called back about midnight. My dad's pacemaker kept going off, and they weren't sure what was causing it. Still aren't. They're running more tests. He has an infection, they don't know if it's connected to why his heart isn't working properly right now.

They want to move him to a better hospital, but he's not stable enough to do so yet.


Update 2: Aunt called again. My dad's in a special care unit. Still don't know what's wrong with his heart. She talked to him, and he said to tell me he'd be okay. :S Kind of worries me. People say that all the time in movies when they die. :/ But she gave me my brother's cell, and she said she'd keep me informed. Here's hoping. confused

Update 3: Saturday.

My father had 16 'episodes' last night 4 this morning. If not for the pacemaker, he would have died.

They're still trying to figure out why. He has a potassium and eloctrolyte imbalance that could be causing it. But, they don't know. He's still being watched and tested. The doctor's won't even say if he'll be okay or not. :S Not reassuring, but I'm trying to stay positive. He's tired, and won't go to sleep because of the pain in his heart.
