D/P Thread Info
BEFORE YOU POST, PLEASE READ THIS!
http://www.serebii.net/diamondpearl/items.shtml That shows where to find items!

Eevee can be obtained by doing two things:

1) Beat the Elite Four, then go to Hearthome City and talk to Bebe beside the Pokecenter.

or

2) Talk to the owner of the Pokemon Mansion, he will tell you about his encounter with an Eevee that morning, his Butler will run off, after that go to the garden in the back and keep running around until you encounter an Eevee

You need your National Dex(ND) to obtain an Eevee, or, you can trade for an Eevee before you get your ND.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

On Mt. Coronet, when you get stuck at the grunt with no pokemon inside that cave, you know what cave I'm talking about, leave that cave, once outside head directly North. There will be two rock walls, take the one to the LEFT an you will easily find your way to your Dialga/Palkia.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
To battle the 5th Gym Leader, follow the Galactic Grunt in Pastoria.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

To add people to your Friends List to chat/trade/battle, if you have not already, head directly downstairs in any pokecenter, talk to either the far left lady or the lady in the middle. You will receive your Pal Pad, after this, go to your KEY ITEMS, then select your PAL PAD, then select REGISTER FRIEND CODE, to do this, you will need someones FRIENDCODE(FC) ONLY, whatever name you set to this code will show up when they are online, example:

Say you want to add "BOB" to your friends list, all you need to do is register his FC in your Pal Pad, so lets say his FC is 1234 5678 9101, all you need to do is assign any name you want to his FC, so say you give BOB the name GEORGE in you friends list, when BOB is online, he will show up as GEORGE.

Now, to go online and actually do anything with BOB, nicknamed GEORGE in your friends list, is go talk to the same lady you got your Pal Pad from.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

To evolve Eevee into either Leafeon or Glaceon, all you need is one Eevee for either evolution. Once you have an Eevee, depending on what evolution you want you will need to to the following:

Leafeon: Take your Eevee(He/She can be at any level to evolve) to Eterna Forest and level up ONCE, after doing so, you will now have a Leafeon.

Glaceon: Take your Eevee to Route 217 and level your Eevee ONCE to evolve, after doing so, you will now have a Glaceon.

POKERUS are a good thing, they double the amount of EV's you gain, if you don't know what EV's are, go HERE

ELITE FOUR INFO HERE

EV Guide (Effort Values)

Due to everyone requesting a guide be made, I've decided to make one... So Maybe we won't have to repeatedly answer everyones EV questions anymore ^^

So, here are the basics:

EV points, or Effort Values, are used to increase a select stat of any Pokémon beyond what it is normally capable of without EV Training.
How this works is for every Pokémon you defeat in the wild you gain a certain amount of EV's to a particular stat, the amount you gain and for what stat depends on the Pokémon you defeat.

To see which Pokémon gives whatever amount of EV's to a stat, select the stat you would like to increase below:

HP:
http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-dp/hp.shtml

Attack:
http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-dp/attack.shtml

Defense:
http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-dp/defense.shtml

Sp. Attack:
http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-dp/sattack.shtml

Sp. Defense:
http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-dp/sdefense.shtml

Speed:
http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-dp/speed.shtml

Now that you know what Pokémon gives what amount of EV's to whichever stat, you need to know how these EV amounts work and what the limits on them are.

For every 4 EV's you gain towards a stat, that stat will gain a +1 bonus when you level up, so say you gain 8 EV's towards HP then level up, you will gain a bonus +2 to HP.

Now, the limits, each Pokémon has a Maximum of 510 EV's to apply to stats. Now you know the max EV's, however, there is a limit of how many EV's you can apply to any one stat, that maximum is 255 or half of the EV's. This limit is so that you don't apply all the EV's to one stat and basically have an unstoppable Pokémon.
You can, if you so choose, distribute your EV's among all your stats evenly to gain a slight boost in every stat.

Normally, most people battle Pokémon to gain EV's towards two stats, you can however use Vitamins (Calcium, Protein, etc.) However, EV training this way is limited. You can only apply 10 Vitamins to each stat, each Vitamin provides 10 EV's so keep track of those 2 Extra EV's, they will be applied to the next stat you boost with Vitamins.

More Advanced Stuff

Now, for a little more advanced stuff...

Pokerus (Pokemon Virus), your Pokémon may have them, if they do then do not worry! This is a VERY Good thing if you EV train. Pokerus increase the amount of EV's you gain from a pokémon by double.
So say you're gaining 3 EV's from a certain Pokémon, you will gain double that amount of EV's, so in other words you will gain 6 EV's while your Pokémon has Pokerus.

Also, if you have the item "Macho Bracer" attached to your Pokémon, this will also double the amount of EV's but it lowers the Pokémon that has it equipped's Speed substantially, not permanently, only while the Macho Bracer is equipped.

A nice bonus, if your Pokémon has Pokerus and is equipped with the Macho Bracer, it will gain Quadruple (4x) the normal EV's.

So say you gain 3 EV's from a certain Pokémon, you will now gain 12 EV's.

Example: 3x2=6x2= 12 EV's

Pretty nice, right?

Now you may be wondering, what if I use Exp. Share?

To answer this simply, if you use Exp. Share, both the Lead Pokémon and the Pokémon that has the Exp. Share equipped gain the same amount of EV's (unless the lead has Pokerus and/or Macho Bracer, in that case the lead will gain bonus Ev's and the Exp. Share will gain the normal EV's)

However, EV training this way has it's down side, it cancels out Pokerus on the Exp. Shared Pokémon, meaning if it is not put into battle and gains EV's solely through Exp. Share, it will not gain double EV's even with Pokerus.

So I hope this EV Guide helped you guys out there. If you have any further questions feel free to ask me in the thread or PM Me (Mystic5hadow)
