No one Can

The nights go by as,
I think of you,
night after night,
wanting to be by your side.
But can’t, something stops me.
The love I have for you,
I can not describe in words.
You are so close, yet so very far away.
Life has tormented me,
Thoughts have abused me.
Why must I stay away?
I want to be with you,
but can’t.
Tonight I say goodbye.
No more pain, but no more pleasure.
Tonight my senses take over,
as I destroy my being.
My eyes, blood red,
watch as you walk into darkness.
My body is uncontrollable.
I follow you, into the darkness.
Your blue eyes, are filled with fear.
As you look up at me.
My hand controls itself,
and clasps your throat.
You struggle, but I am stronger.
Slowly, so very slowly,
You lose your life force.
Your body goes limp,
Your blue eyes lose the sparkle I loved.
I let you go, as you fall,
I walk away.
If I can’t have you,
No one can.
