God. I haven't posted a journal entry in too long. I've been posting them all on *Cough* MySpace. Not that there have been too many, but oh well. Here we go~
Well, I'm back from my little dance trip to Idaho. Basically, I went down there with my dance team to perform in Silverwood. Sucks for you all who missed it. Ya. I went with my mom, both brothers, and my older brother's friend Kyle. It was pretty fun. The drive down, not so much. But it was okay.
Most of the time, I hung out with Alisa, Amanda, Kyle and my older brother. That was pretty much the whole time, I think. Considering they kinda went in pairs (Alisa and my brother, Kyle and Amanda) I felt pretty third-wheel-ish, but like that's new. Katie would hang out with us at times, which, ya know, probably would've given me someone to talk to. But then she'd go and invite one eight year old or another to come with us, and just kinda had fun with them (That's not to say that I hate kids, or anything, but... I just kinda wish she wouldn't have. And they'd just kinda stand there while we talked. So it must have been boring for THEM at times..). The dancing went fine. Nothing new, just the last times I'll be doing/seeing those dances. And the theme park was good. I had dippin' dots for the first time in maybe a few years, went on a few roller coasters (Seemed pretty short..) and, for once, didn't get a souvenier. Cause I'm always always ALWAYS bugging my parents to go to gift shops at these places. There's a first time for everything, I suppose.
After we left the theme park, it was pretty much more of the same, just less park and rides. Talking, games, and pizza. A reasonably good night. I even went lazer tagging. But none of the above stated (Except Katie..) went with. So I went with all the people on the dance team that I'm not particularly social with. And Beth, too. smile But it was pretty enjoyable.
I think the most random thing that happened on the trip was after lazer tag. I was gonna go back with Katie, and stopped her so that she'd walk back with me, but then she walked off to talk with Chloie Puff, so I just kinda left her. Anyway. I'm just kinda walking, realizing I have a key for the side door this time, and don't have to sneak in with a couple of kids, and this guy kinda walks up to me. Or stops me, whatever. And he's just kinda like, "Hi, I just wanted to say I'm Josh." And I'm like, "Um.. Kay..?" So he goes, "What's your name?" And I go, "Uh... Phillip." And he's like, "Okay, that's cute. Bye." And just kinda walks away. Or whatever. I don't really remember that well. But it was suuure random~
And ya know. I get back, and there's nothing to ******** watch on television. And I finished all of Dead Like Me right when we dropped Kyle off at his house, so that's done... But there's a Twilight Zone marathon on tuesday, I was just informed of while channel surfing, so maybe I'll freak myself out like I did at new years watching that. Lord knows I could just stay up all night watching it, and just might since I usually go to bed since there's nothing on TV. And it's summer and all. Somebody should have a sleep over with me so I don't do it alone. Dx
