The ape s**t ramblings of a Canadian high schooler!
I've decided to stop using my journal as a rest place for my not even half-finished stories and start using it like a proper journal. Instead of stories I metaphorically pulled out of my a**, it's stories that I pulled out of life's a**. Prepare to
WARNING! SPOILERS!
'Sups guys.

So I just came back from seeing Order of the Phoenix and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised.
Even though it was the shortest of all the movies for the longest book, they didn't compromise the story-line too much so as to fit the time frame. It wasn't rushed, nothing went by too fast and they kept a lot of the important parts in. The new characters were beautifully chosen and played.

My Top Three favorite Characters from OOTP.
1. Tonks. Great character, movie and book. I simply love her character and I'm seriously jealous of her hair.
2. Luna Lovegood. Probably the most adorable, fun character I've ever seen. Juliah, have I ever told you who much you remind me of Luna? Well, If I haven't, then I'm saying it nao.
3. Bellatrix Lestrange: Scarest woman I have ever set eyes on. She really pulls off the "I've been trapped in this terrible prison of years and it's really taken a toll on me" kind of look.

I did have some issues with the movie. Firstly, the music they played in the Gryffindor common room. There are certain things that cannot be done around Hogwarts, and listening to music is one of them since it needs electricity, which malfunctions because the massive amounts of magic.
I thought that the "Snape's Worst Memory" scene was a bit short, but it still gave me immense satisfaction. I am officially James Potter's #1 Fan.
The flight across London with the Advance Guard I thought was cool, but ti didn't make any sense to me. Why the hell were they flying so low? Harry almost flew through a boat! It doesn't seem like something Moody would do, what with his paranoia.

The special effects were great. I'm telling you, that was "Olympic-level, gold medal Ninja wandage" to quote Jason Isaacs. And HOSHIT, that Ginny Weasley has got a massive Reducto spell in her arsenal. I mean, what she did to that mechanical Death Eater in the Room of Requirement was amazing enough, but then she sends on the whole Hall of Prophecy crashing down around their heads! Oh, she's good.
And the crazy smoke effect for the DEs and the Order. Top knotch. I think Tonks should've appeared with this horribly scary face on, make all the DEs s**t their robes!
And if I thought that fight at the Veil wasn't spectacular enough, it's got nothing on Dumbledore. When Voldemort conjured that Fire Snakes I was saying "Phoenix, Phoenix, PHOENIX!" in my head, waiting for Dumbledore to conjure a great firey Phoenix to combat that snake.

Anyway, I simply adored this movie, with the exception of Umbridge. Bellatrix was scary, but Umbridge was just plain unpleasant. That black quill of hers. Nasty piece of work.
