I actually had 12 kids. The largest group (GASP!). It went from 8 am to 2:15 pm. It was a vacation bible school, and I got the Kindergarden to 2nd grade kids. (they're the only age group that likes me. XP )

At first, the kids were alright. Some were kinda sleepy, so they really didn't talk...or do anything for that matter...But others were really energetic! And that was ok, because it was only a couple of them. But as the day went on, the kids started getting hyped up. No surprise.

During one of the crafts, we didn't do anything, so the kids were just wondering around. I started playing with some of them, and they got REALLY hyper. DX But that wasn't the bad part. I don't mind hyper kids. It's just when they started groupin up on me that I started getting annoyed. They were jumpin on me and latchin onto my arms and legs.

And I have to admit...I did something stupid...

I laid down on the floor, not thinking. I was gonna be dead (pretending). Then...they dog piled me. And jumped on me. ...Ow! DX One of the boys that were helpin out, Victoria's cousin, tried to get the kids attention, but only succeeded in getting two of them away.

A few of the kids stayed calm while the few I mentioned, went, shall we say, nuts! X) They wouldn't pay attention in music, and a couple of them didn't even participate.

After a while, we gained two little girls...twins. They were sisters of one of the boys in my group. And they cried. And they cried. And they cried. They wanted their mom, but she wasn't there. So their brother, Conner, had to look out for them, keep up with them, and keep them happy. It was really sad. Conner was getting so frustrated and tired. He cried a couple times. I only saw it once. I tried to help all I could. In the end, he called his mom and she picked both him and the twins up.

A few of the students kept latching onto me...And I was getting annoyed. You can only take kids so long, ya know? One little boy kept crying because he wanted a balloon. At the end of the school, everyone would get to set some balloons free into the air, and everyone wanted to get their balloons NOW.

When I first heard about watching kids, I thought it was gonna be a small group. I thought I was gonna be able to work with Victoria, my friend. I thought a lot of things, and I WAS WRONG!!!

But I enjoyed myself! biggrin I didn't think I would! Not after I found out I would be taking care of kids A. by myself, B. in a different group than Victoria, C. and within a schedule that someone else made up. But, like I said, I enjoyed myself! XD
