Chapter 4~ Half Breed Battle
A silence fell between the two men, and none of the harem spoke, merely veering away from the two, still examining grapes of wine, or doing something.

Foam still dripped out of the corner of Keru's mouth, adn the fnags looked shaprened to kill, rip apart, and eat whatever he wanted. Then he roared, a roar that neither human nor animal could ever make, and he leapt at the winged man, hands now equipped with sharp claws. The man quickly juped up, een though he was sitting down, flapping his wings to stay hovered in the air above Keru, the chair he was once sitting on now nothing more than three piles of dust.

Keru looked up at him with his blood-red eyes, snarled, spitting foam everywhere, and jumped up, trying to reach the flying man in vain. He merely smirked, saying. "How pitiful. A Beserker, a fighter, who can't even reach his target."

Keru snarled again, and the man wiped spittle off his foot. "How sad. You're angry because I took your woman? Please, even the villagers give in when I take their women. Get used to it. SHe's going to be mine for a while, until her beauty fades, at least - Urgh!" Keru had leapt high enough to punch the man in his stomach, and he doubled over, then fell to the ground, landing on the smoothed-out rocks.

"Get. Up." Keru said, disgust now taking over his voice. The winged man looked up at him, and immediently noticed the difference.

His eyes had dulled to the color of old blood, and foam didn't come from his mouth anymore. His fangs were smaller, as were his claws, and rage didn't fill up every part of his body. The winged man smirked at Keru, saying. "So what made you calm down? Have you accepted the fact that the girl is mine?"

"As. If." Keru said, stepping over to stand over the winged man. "What do you want with Niina anyways?"

"Why do you want to know?"

"I'm curious. Tell me now."

The winged man looked at him, then smiled patiently. "My name is Koria, and I am a mixed breed between an Osskill and a Heretu. Heretu, like you should knew, are fairly human in appearance, yet my Osskill blood gave me these wings."

He glance dup to see how Keru was taking this, but all he saw there angry red eyes watching his every move, so he continued. "Being a helf breed, I was rejected by everyone. Osskill rejected me, Heretu rejected me, and especially humans rejected me. I became bitter, you could say, so I wanted to do something to fix that."

"And being the perverted and twisted man you are, you decided to brainwash innocent girls and make them your harem."

"Exactly." Koria said with a smile, "So glad you get me. Women are wonderful, so beautiful." He snapped his fingers, and Niina kneeled by him, her blank eyes staring out into nothing once more. Koria ran his fingers over he skin, gently tracing her face's features. "Purple looks lovely on her, don't you agree? The Shining Knight should let it all loose sometimes..."

"Shining Knight?"

"The man looked up at him, his fingers resting on her cheek, his thumb on Niina's lips. "You were travelling with the Shining Knight and you didn't even know it?"

Keru scowled, and his eyes flashed with that crimson red once more when he continued running his fingers over Niina's face. "Stop touching her. Shining Knight or no, you can't treat women like your slaves."

"Oh?" Moria said, running his fingers through Niina's hair. "And why not?"

Whatever Keru was about to say was interupted by a fist in the winged man's face, which was attached to Niina's arm. "Because then we knock your teeth out." she said, her eyes now clear. She stood up, kicking the man. "Nice spell, but it wasn't that hard to break. In fact, i think i set off a chain reaction. Some other girls should be waking up within a few minutes...." She smirked at Koria's pale face, then spotted her regular clothes off in a corner. She went off to change, hiding behind a wall.

"You know," Keru said, looking at Koria, "I'm not a Berserker."

"What?! But-"

"I'm a half-breed. Berserker and human."

"Then why do you still fight someone who knows your pain?!" Koria yelled, standing up, an angry look twisting onto his face.

Niina emerged, just as Keru turned around and whispered, "Because you hurt someone I care about."
