As some of you may have already seen, I entered the avi arena last week with my Dante. I was hoping that I would do well since my Dante was better looking, and had a good description. Unlike the Dante that had won in previoius. The Red Gunner Coat is nice, but not as great as other red coats you can put on it. I had no idea that so many people cosplayed as Dante every week in the arena. I honestly thought I had done something fairly original, and wasn't put in the arena all the time. I was wrong. I was up again four other Dantes. One was the second costume, Diesel Dante, from the second game, two others were from the first game, and the four one was just a sad attempt because the avi's blue hair hadn't even been made silver to make him Dante. Fatal flaw right there.

There were alot of good avis this week, a few of them I really enjoyed looking at, and I voted fairly when I went in there. I ended up losing, but not as horribly as my previous attempt. At least this time I was still in the Top 500 ranking. Last time I didn't even place. The winner this time around was a decent cosplay attempt as Papa Smurf from The Smurfs. If nothing else it was original.

I think I'll take a break from the arena for a while. It's faily expensive to do this all the time, and I just don't have the gold to spare. Yeah I've love to be in the Top 10 and get a lot of gold back in return, but it's just so hard to please people in the arena. They want something breath taking, and super original. Right now I haven't found that, and I don't have the numbers of friends to vote for me that some of these other contenders do. I've done some research, and a number of winners have upwards of 100-200 friends. That's definitely gotta help. But for now, a break from it all. I'm going for my pitchfork, and I'm going to need all the gold I can gather to afford the thing.
