dancing
i am a part of a dance team, and i really enjoy it. it is very entertaining, we go to competitions, win trophies, we did a car wash last saturday, and we just have lots of fun.

sometimes some of the things tend to be on dates that my friends have something going on (mostly manditory competitions), but even though i would really like to go, i signed up for it at the begining of the year while this is sprung up at me at the last second. i feel rather bad for not being able to go, sorry for my friend who's hosting it, and sorry for my self, because i can't hang out with my frineds. but then one of my friends says

"you get to do that all the time. this is (name here)'s birthday, and it only comes once a year! what is more important? a competition? or your friends birthday?"

i myself find that rather uncalled for, considering that i signed up for the competitions in september, and the party is a few days away. the party was in march, i found out a week in advance, and i had know of the up-coming competition for practically a month. now not only am i feeling sad for my self and the person hosting the party, but i am feeling GUILTY..... this just makes me so depressed...... crying

AFTERMATH: around the day before the party, i found i was able to go, becasue the party was a few hours after the competition, but before i knew, i felt very guilty.

it's not your fault your friends were mean, Songstress!
And I, personally, think that a competition is more important than a friend birthday because they have one every year, sometimes two or three or four, and you could always go some other time to a party that they'll no doubt be hosting or joining.
(and i had fun at your birthday party, mine sucked tho)
(and if you're reading this around JUNE 2ND: I WANT MY CD BACK!!!!!)
