Well, it's officially the close of the second day here at Kumoricon here in Vancouver, Washington. I've been having the time of my life cosplaying, seeing others cosplay as some of my most favorite characters, the music, the anime, the plushies, the Seme/Uke paddles, and the Yaoi Paddels (complete with both a hardcore and a softcore side).
Okay, before I go on, I need to elaborate on something. I was standing at a yaoi booth with a new friend of mine (cosplaying Axel) and the person in charge of the booth said that it's impossible to wear an Organization XIII coat without at least accepting yaoi, or something along the lines of that, which is technically true. I am a firm believer that Organization XIII has more yaoi in its fandom then Final Fantasy VII. Oh! I also had a Marluxia swoon for my Vexen one. And before you go all insane and start making wild accusations, she mistook me for another Organization member, and collapsed due to embarrassment. Quite funny, really.
Anyway, I guess I'll list some of my more favorite cosplays this round. Zabuza Momochi (this quy's outfit was AMAZING), a Corsair from Final Fantasy XI (the first cosplay I squealed like a fangirl for), Yomiko Readman (I got my picture with her), Pit (the new character in Super Smash Brothers Brawl), Packman (I s**t you not), Tetris blocks (see Packman comment), Jack Skellington, a box of pocky, Domo-Kun, Gir (another fangirl squeal cosplay), Phoenix Wright (along with Miles Edgeworth, d**k Gumshoe, Maya Fay, and Emma Skye), Ash Ketchum (and an assortment of other Pokemon characters), Pikachu (kemonomimi, but it still worked), a trio as Sexy Jutsu Naruto, Gaara, and Sasuke in light blue schoolgirl outfits, Tobi (He was being a good boy), and Il Pallazo and Hyatte from Excel Saga (I seriously raised my arm and shouted "HAIL IL PALLAZO!" wink .
Also, I met a group called the Turk Coffee Cosplay; the guy cosplaying as Rude was so accurate it wasn't even funny. It was f***ing amazing, They also gave me 1 Gil. 4laugh
Anyway, I lost my train of thought, if I ever had one... yeah...so I think I'll end here. I'll get my camera film developed ASAP so I can post pictures.
