Step #1: Surrender any and all ability to and accessories designed to block out sound.
Step #2: Develop a Tension Headache. This can be done by playing Phoenix Wright for an extended time with your head tucked firmly against your chest.
Step #3: Place yourself in a situation where you are no less then 12 yards from a massive speaker system playing mind-numbing, repetitive Mexican music at high to maximum volume.
Additional Information: Using the three easy steps above, it can also be noted, along with deafness, the extremely painful headaches acquired in Step #2 will reach hazardous states. Only attempt the situation while trying to manage a wedding with 2/3s of the guests speaking a language you cannot possibly understand.

So Saturday was the day to do yet another wedding. If you didn't know, I work with a wedding coordinator, along with 1-2 others, where we set-up and tear-down wedding decorations before and after the events.
Now don't get me wrong, the guy paying for the wedding was an awesome guy and not being able to speak Mexican to communicate with the guests was stressful at times, I have nothing against them. They where awesome people, and I got to have some of the after service buffet, which is always a plus.
My biggest and only complaint was the music. It was loud, repetitive, and grueling with my headache, and I was always within 12 yards of it. Always. gonk Still, most of my hearing has recovered by now, which is nice, but I still get a ringing in it every now and then.
Also, I was kinda hoping this entry would be on a lighter note then my previous rant about the 2% marketplace tax.
