What lies beyond the veil? What happens to us when we die? Why is death
necessary? All questions I have asked myself, far too many times. Often
I will look at my life and think, 'what is the point? I'm going to die
anyway, so why do I need to bother? Why don't I go out and just enjoy
myself, instead of learning and stuff?

The answer is, because I believe that there's a point to all of this.
There's a reason why I exist. I have to believe that there is someone up
there, guiding me, or else I think I'd simply break down. I don't know
how atheists can live calmly, for to them, there is nothing beyond the
Veil.

Death is something I am, quite naturally, curious about. It is said that
curiosity killed the cat, which is somehow fitting. I am, first and
foremost, a scientist; I am a psionicist - a controller of energy through
scientific concepts - and cannot actually accept anything without working
it through first.
But the scientist within me is fuelled by an insatiable desire to discover.
That's why I have so many questions, questions that can not be answered
definitively by any man living. Questions that I shall perhaps find the
answer to when I pass on, when I move past the veil.

But then, what if nothing is there?

Surely this whole existence isn't some sort of cruel joke, right? I mean,
the rest of existence is pretty... well, systematic. Everything happens
to further the existence of... of what? The waves are to make the ocean
breathe, so the fish can get oxygen. The fish exist to clear the ocean of
debris and to feed each other.

Everything's like a great big circle. BUt... but a circle has no points.
What on earth is the point behind our existence? Does our existence even
have a point? Or do we exist simply as a small piece, so small that it
actually cannot be seen?

Where does the cycle end, or does it keep going around and around?

And when we die... do we ever come back to give the cycle another run?
