Here I was
Waiting in the rain
Waiting for you
My heart aching in pain
Tears fell down
Onto my face
But the rain washed it away
Leaving no trace
I start to reminiscence
Of the times we went through
Most of it happy
Some of it blue
After what felt like forever of waiting
I heard my name being called
From the voice I have been longing
I ran through the woods
My arms wide and open
Embracing you with all my might
Never wanting it to be broken
I kissed you sweetly on the lips
My cheeks had a reddish hue
When I heard you mutter
Those three words
“I love you.”
