Grumping in furious annoyence, young Ailsing wiped a smudge of drying red from the corner of his lips. Then begrudgingly brushed his knuckles past a scuff mark on his cheek. A forming bruise.
"I've done it again.", he muttered, spitting to the ground a slur of red saliva. Blood. He'd gone and gotten himself into another brall.
"He started it", The young man confirmed in reminessance. The man had accused him of being a hybrid. With his pointed ears and his elongated canines. His unusually silver-white hair and sharp fingernails.
He glared at his nails. Red blood was crusting beneath them. He'd cut the man when he hit him. Said it was an accident. He'd done it on purpose, though.
"He deserved it." He couldn't help it either way. It wasn't his fault; his nails grew this way. Into hardened stiff points, sharper than a blade. Could cut through anything, as far as he knew. Not that he'd tested that before...*cough*
Picking the annoying coloration of dried blood from under his claws, Daire looked back to his path ahead. He'd been assigned to find some fresh Hybrids for a slave trade. The price was sketchy, but it was life. Literally.
