Sam's Masquerade party
Okay, so last night was Sam's Masquerade party. (which was pretty awesome might I add)
I was actually able to wear my costume which was awesome although I probably should have changed into my jeans and tshirt before hanging around the bondfire. I didn't end up going on the trails because it was WAY to cold out and besides that I needed to keep the fire going since it was sorta being neglected by Sam...(she had other things to do)
Later we started a sort of cult. It started out because someone found a babydoll head and asked if they could put it in the fire so we did. I can tell you, by the time the hair had burnt off the face was barely recognizable as a baby doll. Later we found a leg and Cindy set it on fire and we watched the toes burn. She was like "Man, that's some awful athlete's foot..." and then "Hey, it's like frost bite! Except...burning..." It was awesome. Plastic smells though...
Anyway, it seemed like everyone was pairing off. Sam hung out with Cliff and they held hands. Personally I think it was cute and that they look really good together. Cliff says he's going to break up with his current girlfriend because she's driving him crazy. Sam's gone out with him before and she says she's wanted to be with him since the end of last summer or whatever. I'm happy for her.
Then there's Kelsey. She was like...all over Ben. (whom I think I might be related to but my dad isn't sure...I know he's Katey's cousin) Not that I don't want her to be happy or anything but I think she's setting herself up to be hurt again. After she left, Ben was talking about how 'everbody wants him' to Katey (my friend). I don't see how at every function Kelsey ever goes to she ends up with a guy (ie. youth group). How does that happen? Anyway, I kinda hope he doesn't call her unless he really likes her cause he got another girls phone number too...I don't want to see Kelsey hurt.
Josh too (he's in our grade at school), first Kelsey yells at him and calls him all these names then she's saying sorry as if nothing ever happened. Kinda confusing if you ask me. I believe it has something to do with the fact that he asked her to go to the dance with him then she turned him down and said they could hang out but then avoided him during the WHOLE dance.
And is it just me or was Mike hanging around me a lot? I'm not sure if I should be flattered or not. (unless of course he was looking down my dress...then I should be disgusted...) He's a really nice guy I think and I also think his morals are more closer to mine than a lot of peoples.
Lol, Aaron (Katey's boyfriend) said I looked pretty in my costume but then he had to turn to Katey and say she looked pretty too so that she wouldn't get mad. She claimed he didn't HAVE to say that to her but you and I BOTH know Katey would have been jealous if he hadn't. Lol. Life's complicated, no? ^_^
Oops, gotta go. ^_^ I hope I can get to go to more parties. I'm usually a stay-at-home sorta person so it's probably good for me huh?
