Saturday, November 10:
Remember when I said that those two who were coming down bringing the dog had changed plans? Well, I forgot that side of the family likes to do stuff like that quite often. In fact, more than once they have done something similar to this, leaving our family in shambles to organize themselves countless times over.
Yeah. I'm really starting to get irked with the whole situation.
I had prepared all day to get ready for them. My parents as well. We had to run around, getting house keys and swapping work schedule plans. Food was made (great copious amounts of 3-way chili and cookies) in order to sustain our family guests after their long, and often times horrifically boring, trip. Putting it bluntly, we were ready for anything.
I had to go to work that night, as I had disgustedly put in my last entry. Why they couldn't have come on the Sunday...? But, it wasn't bad. The night sped by, and my manager closing duty went smoothly. Can't complain when you're working for over 6 hours and you don't realize how fast it's going. Anyway, after closing the front doors, locking them and bidding my elderly (and god, she's sweeter than an angel) cashier named Donna a wonderful evening, we headed to our separate cars with our chaperones in waiting (her husband to her, and my mother to me).
As I plopped down in my seat, I looked at mom. She hadn't turned the key in the ignition yet, and she gave me a quirky little grin that told me something had indeed amused her over the hours of my absence in the household.
That's when she informed me that they WOULDN'T be coming down tonight. I exclaimed a frustrated, "WHAT THE HELL THEN!", and she told me that Denise (the gestapo queen) had suddenly, right before the two of them taking off, stated that Brian (her hubby) needed to be there for ovulation. Mainly, Denise is trying to have a child and Brian has to do something or another that the Doctors had ordered. I'm not going to divulge deeply into it-- that's what Wikipedia is there for, folks.
So, the score is, Denise 5 million, Brian zip. And I wonder how long it's going to take before he'll stand up against the toiling tides?
Aunt Jackie stated that she'll no longer babysit Hannah (the terrier) so they'll need to find a temporary sitter or send it down here, ASAP. And, might I ad, they don't know WHEN they're coming down now. Jackie suggested the early weeks of December. DECEMBER?! stressed Can they frustrate us any further by keeping us in the dark, dangling on a rope, not knowing what to do with these constant postponements and plan changes?!
December is the month my other Brian (the nephew I look up to; the one in the Airforce) comes home for a month. December is the month I have to have my Remicade treatments. December is the month of insane work schedules up at my store. And December is apparently now the month of having to deal with this after waiting that long.
I'm going to count to 10... and then I'm going to SCREAM. stare
Work today. I go in early (9:30-3:30) and for a short time, so I can write some of my book when I get home. I'm nearing the middle half of it, and already I'm dreading the next few chapters. When you become an author, each character you make (whether good guys or bad) end up having bits and chunks of yourself, your persona, in them.
And with the character, the sweet martyr to die...
heart Peace out, ya'll! heart

The long forgotten lore of my life
When I feel like it I'll update with my thoughts, views, nonsensical ramblings or events. Just another look into my chaotic enough life. I never know what's going to happen.
