Okay, so, the Gala was amazing! <3 For the door prize, my name was drawn for a pair of some Spirited 2k7 Boots! Since I don't really need them--as I already have a pair--I'm giving them to Cuchita1975 (my sister) who needs winter items! Anyway, I kind of want to do something similar, but with the Gaians who live in my zip code in Towns. (OO2392 Barton, btw. You can get to my house through my profile, if you wish to see it. It's quite festive.)
Sadly, a significant portion of my zip code isn't very active on Gaia; as in, they haven't logged on for a few months, or a few weeks, and it doesn't look like some of them will ever be back on Gaia, so I don't really know what to do regarding sending out 35 invitations. Since the dumb PM system won't let me PM more than one person at a time unless they're all friends of mine, well.
I don't want my neighbors to think I'm being silly if I invite them all to a get-together at my house for a Christmas party or something, but I think it would be a nice idea for those of us who live in the same zip code to at least get to know each other and make new friends.
