Darkside
To understand my darker side,
you must see the world thru my eyes.
It is a journey in darkness of things seen in glimpses,
that fade away the same way they existed.
In darkness shrouded by hate and fear,
emotions disliked yet they seem so near.
Close to the core yet so far away,
they are a shadow of memory or so they say.
Intertwined for rest of time,
always in the back of my mind.
Waiting for a way to be seen or heard
so they can try to infer something more disturbed.
It will mess with my mind and rip at my core.
Till there is nothing left but a plain white door.
A plain white door with a silver knob
that holds a power that can resolve,
this eternal darkness it is a struggle within,
it controls my life and makes me so grim.
But as soon as I’m free it begins again.
