____Spirit is a part of a person that allows them to absorb soul. The absorbed soul is then altered and transformed into a useable energy source for that individual taking on the characteristics of the element the spirit is aligned with. The more mature the Spirit the more soul it can absorb. However this is not the case with Deamon Knights.

____Soul is an energy that flows from every living thing via the Soul Gate. It is absorbed using spirit however it is currently unknown it the is only the case with humans or if the same goes with plants as well. Once absorbed Soul takes on an appearance similar to the elemental alignment of the user. Other points massive amounts of soul can be found at are Churches or Sacred areas and Cities with massive populations.

____Deamon Knights use a altered soul, this is created by fusing the soul energy with negative emotions created by angry, enslaved or disgruntled people. These same emotions can also come from the user however it creates a weaker version of altered soul called Sub altered soul.
