Karupin

The siamese licked ketchup from his paws. The cat ate more like a human, with his paws and not like some of us think, sinking teeth into the food and generally making a mess. Today Cross Academy had sandwiches for lunch, much better suited to him, not like the time they had ramen. The teachers had soon found out that Karupin couldn't manoveure chopsticks. He had to settle for apples that day. The cat was seated at a window seat in the spacious cafeteria, with Fujishima seated as peacemaker between him and Ann-chan.

Bunta
~
He was in a comfy beanbag at the darkened side of the cafeteria, usually for students who wanted a break from too much homework. The corner was dark and littered with a soft carpet on which lay a mishmash of beanbags and cushions. His name was Bunta, Bunta Masaharu.
A new student, he slouched, observing everyone who entered and left. Inhaling into a shiny puff of green bubblegum. A blue duffel bag balanced on his lap. According to the new student system set in by the noodle-brain teacher, his 'introducer' to the school were...he looked down at a crumpled piece of paper in his palm...Fujishima, Karupin, Ann. Descriptions clearly listed them as the trio near the window, of which two were arguing loudly. Hm.

Fujishima
~
'Enough.'
The lady's phrase was tinged ith malice, and both Karupin and Ann-chan stopped their argument abruptly. All knew that when Fujishima used this tone there would be trouble.
Her white hair swished as she got up from the chair, giving her friends a cold glance.
"Remember, we still have to find this Bunta Masaharu before today's class ends, or it'll be math drills and detention from Noodle Brain for the next three weeks.

Ann-chan
~
'Hai.' Yes. 'We'd better start looking.'
The brunette shoved her chair back with a loud creak, giving Karupin a contempous glance. Then there was a surprised shout from the other side of the cafeteria.

Bunta
~
'You asked.'
Bunta had swung up from his seat, walking over and causing mayhem along the way by stepping on several exposed feet.
'I am...Bunta Masaharu. You three must be Fujishima, Karupin, and Ann-chan then. Ya all sure took a long time to come find me.'

Fujishima
~
'We have reasons.'
A frosty silence erupted between them, except for Ann-chan and Karupin, the cat having snickered and said 'there, told ja. He said my name first.'
Fujishima sighed, silencing both with several identical lollipops. The two lasped into angry quiet-ness, clearly aware of Bunta's amused stare.
