Journal Update Time!
So what’s happened since I last updated my journal? For starters, my crazy cousin I mentioned in an earlier entry is now…pregnant. She just turned 16, so I know she’s shamed to show her face. I’m upset too, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want to see her. I miss her crazy antics, even though she’ll have do at least a bit of growing up from here on out. What else? My Great Uncle is on his deathbed apparently, but still hanging in. He’s been doing badly for the past month, and Saturday when we went to see him, they said he wasn’t supposed to make it through the night, but he did. Go Uncle Will. For Christmas, my older sister Christian came down to spend the day with us. She just plain irritates me, every time I see her walk in the door with that smile on her face; I just start glaring and wait to spit some insult or snarky comment. I don’t really understand why though, but I’m sure it has something to do with her being so ugly those last few months she lived with us. However, it was nice to ride like how we did before, everyone in their old seats, all the way to Louisiana. When we got there, Uncle Tex was there, so it wasn’t all bad, we weren’t by ourselves visiting. In the kitchen even, we were all there, and it felt really good, no one was mad at someone else, and we were cracking jokes. Then we hit the road to go visit Uncle Will, and came back home. Of course, we can’t escape some kind of fall out. Amanda and Christian got into it about Chris bringing back food for her roommate and boyfriend. Oh, and I forgot to mention, she basically uses us as a one stop shop, she brought these huge bags of laundry that held all of their clothes. Eww. She also goes around the house, looking for things she can steal, like a crack head. Yet another reason to dislike her, but I digress. They had it out, and didn’t really patch things up before she left, but oh well. Moving on, on Saturday like I mentioned before, we went to Dequincy to go see Uncle Will, but we really got distracted by his grandkids, Gabby and Colby. Gabby is an adorable 9 year old that came over to where we were sitting, and made herself comfortable on our laps. Colby is I don’t know how many years old badass little boy that upon meeting me, decided to attack me. It was fun though, because I could rough him up without feeling too bad. I picked him up and turned him upside down, which was fun until he knocked my glasses off. When he kept coming back for more trouble, Gabby showed how bad she really was. It was because of her we kept teasing him and poking at him, and it really got funny when Gabby got up in the middle of the ‘fight’ to cut off the light. They called us ‘The three stooges’ because of all the laughing and yelling coming from the room we were sitting in. For New Years, we didn’t do anything special, just the usual, pray in the New Year. It was all well and fine, even though Laura was conveniently sleeping at the time so she wasn’t on her knees. But yeah, we ever had our black eyed peas and cabbage yesterday. Nothing left to mention except that on Gaia, I’ve decided to do something I would usually deem unsafe for someone like me. I’ve decided to actively and openly quest for an AFK. More than ever, I’m sure I really want it, and the price isn’t dropping, so now I have something to dedicate my time to. I really feel like backing out though, the price makes me want to cry and settle for the smaller priced DIs. I won’t though, and that’s what matters.
Edit: Good news and bad news, I suppose. Good news, my cousin isn't pregnant. Something else is wrong. >> Bad news, my Uncle Will died a few days ago.
