I was walking one day
along a dirt road
Where, for miles long
nothing ever growed

All was dry
And the dirt seemed old
But as I walked
I saw something on the road

I couldn't beleave it
I checked my eyes
For there in the road
Grew a rose of great size

I ran to it
Hoping I wasnt to late
And I scanned it over
This rose was so great

I wonderd what a rose...
Would be doing "out here"
I looked around
But no solution could appear

Out of the earth so dry
A rose would araise
I stood there amazed

I looked back at the rose
And was shocked at it so
That it started to welt
So I knelt down low

I packed some soil
With the up-most care
And I heldit in my arms
After that, it all seemed clear

I took the rose
And with soft strength
I plucked it out
Even its roots were great in length

As I watered the soil down
I took the rose
And as I planted it in my arms
The rose still grows

I walked great miles
In the dry land
To the much greener place
Where "my" soil was grand
I planted the rose
In front of a "tree"
And to this day
It grows exceedingly
