if i was falling
would i be caught?
if i was dying
would i be nursed?
if i was crying
would someone help?
if i was happy
would it be for long
if i was loved
would i return it
if i was left
would i feel pain
if i know my heart screams sorrows such as this
wouldnt i have a better understanding than i have
if i know the sorrows
wouldnt i accept them
if i know what life is
why cant i seem to find a meaning
if i know the cruelty of the world
then why am i not dead
just left in pain and suffering
as empty as i am
though i dont show it
if i am empty
if i know im empty
why would i feel and cry
