A rose
This time gray
The petals fallen
A darkish gray
A piano continues to play
A sad song
One that plays
all day long
A heart has sunken
Once again
But it always happens
In the end
Cought in a webing
Of my own sorrow
Nothing left for me
Nothing for tomorrow
Joy so far away
A cracked window from a rock
I wish I could reach that joy
But I keep my door, my heart locked
Denying all
Thats given me their heart
For my fear of love
I dont want to be torn apart
...One day though
My rose will be full
Color restored
And my soul will rule
But until then
Ill stay in this room
Away from the real world
Away from the doom
Away from that beach
Alone as I am
For to cry once more
Ill be damned
As I wait
I lock the door
Look out the cracked window and say no more
'I stay the white rose'...
