I've been thinking about this for a LOOONNNG time and I think it's quite logical, you can get stoned without smoking pot. I'm not talking about the occasional sugar high, I'm talking about the so ******** up that if I were put on Jeapordy at this moment I would lose. Well anyways you don't have to smoke pot to be a stoner, you just have to watch plenty of movies (with pot or lots of drug jokes in it) read plenty of books (with drug stories in them) and act so dumb that you forget almost everything you learn in school. I myself am a minor stoner, I do watch the usual stoner movie and I play Katamari Damacy alot with my friends but I don't have any inttention of smoking pot because I'm above the influence thingy.
Now that I'm thinking about it technically no ones above the influence, we gotta look up to someone every now and then. I find my parents to be my biggest influences in my life so what do these "Above the influence" people want me to do? Tell my parents to ******** off? Well I'm gonna tell you influence people to ******** off.
I know your inttention is good and everything but if you're trying to get kids from doing drugs first quit sending them mixed messages, this above the influence crap is stupid. If some stoned kid is above the influence he won't stop smoking pot, he'll just stop buying it from other people and grow his own s**t, there is nothing more being in charge then that.
The second thing is, QUIT TRYING TO SCARE US! I admit that most kids smoke pot because they are really stupid and just want to be cool but kids that I personally know who smoke pot do it because they want to get away from the scarriest thing of all which is their life so putting up scary commercials is not gonna work.
All you guys can do to stop kids from doing this s**t is put up a commercial that says "Don't smoke pot" thats IT! After that it should be the Parents job to tell the kids why they shouldn't smoke pot. And if the kids still end up smoking pot after the commercial and after they've had the long talk with their parents, guess what? Thats their problem! If it ******** up their life "which sometimes it dosen't" then it's their mistake and their problem, it's called learning.
I am above the influence of commercials and Katamari is my anti-drug....so deal with it!
