This is going to be about Death Note.
I've actually been quite obsessed after it came out on TV.
Of course I've watched it before it came out on TV.
But ever since I heard that Brad Swaile played Raito, my heart almost stopped.
And so I started watching Death Note all over again.
In English.
I'm actually quite satisfied with the English version, other than L's voice.
Every other anime I've seen in English totally got ruined.
Like Naruto.
So, my thoughts on characters.
Yagami Raito: Okay, so at first I thought he was the most adorable person in the world. But when I read/saw the last volume/episode, it totally ruined everything. I mean, he's so unattractive. I really think he'd make a great uke when he had no memory of the death note. So innocent. x3
L/Ryuga/Ryuusaki/Lawliet: Okay, so he's like my all time favourite character.
I totally thought the foot massage in episode 25 was total fan service for all those yaoi lovers out there. I think he's o adorable, and I think he's a lot like me. He even sits like me sometimes. But I don't think he devours a whole bag of marsh mellows like I do. L is totally a seme. Why? Think about it. He's known around the world, has no emotion, is straight forward and people are willing to break laws for him. I mean, honestly. xD
Mello: I don't know how other people thought Mello was a girl. I mean, isn't it obvious that he's a guy? Can't a guy have good hair? Jeez people. Anyways, he's totally uke. His obsession with chocolate, his temper and his attitude. Like, a bad-a** uke. ;D
Near: He's simply adorable. I don't have much to say on him. He's a super genius and totally screwed over a 17-18 year old. And what is he? Like 12? I just think he's super special awesome. <3
Matt: Matt is TOTALLY AWESOME. His love for video games and his habit for smoking is really cool. Well, I think so anyways. I don;t have anything to say about ihm, other than he's totally Mello's seme. ;D
Misa: She really pisses me off in both Japanese and English. Ughh. I mean, she wears like gothic clothing and all, but her personality is so bubbly and obnoxious. She can just go straight to Mu. D<
Ahem.
And now, for pairings.
RaitoxL: One of my favourite pairings ever.
Of course L would top.
I think it's really adorable. An insomniac and a psychopath with a superiority complex. I also like the forbidden love between the detective and suspect. <33
MelloxMatt: I like these two together. I don't know why people pair Mellow with like, 11 year old Near. I mean come on. And don't even mention the difference between Raito and L. L is like 23 and Raito is what? 17? Oh well. Atleast they're both matured.
And as far as the story goes, I think it's ingenious.
I mean, It's really... It has a lot of... It can really...
It leaves you breathless. GENIUS.
