I saw him again.
The hole in my heart was lifted once again. I had seen his face, and it felt like I could raise my hands higher. I could no longer feel the burden that had dragged my limbs down like dead weight; the thing that made me feel alone.
I knew that he didn't like me back. That's okay, I guess. I'm just glad that I met him. Even if we're still together just as friends, as long as I'm around him I feel happier. I often get gloomy at times, when I get lost in thoughts about him. But, I'm not going to be obsessed over love.
I'm not going to go looking for love. I'll live my life until love finds me. It's okay if you're not with anyone at the moment. Even if you feel alone; you're not. I'm not alone. I realized that. I didn't notice how many friends I had; the ones I made small talk with every day. I didn't want to be close to anyone.
But now, I've made many friends. And with them around me, it's making me feel better about not being with him. It's okay, like I said before. I'm just glad that I met him.
But, what about those who mourn over loosing their loved ones? All those girls that cry at night after a breakup? And how old are most of them? 13-15? What's the legal age to get married?
I don't get it. Why people cry over breakups when they're so young. Like they'd be together for six years. They said things to each other like "We'll be together forever" and made promises that grew on them as they got closer. And then, when they break up, all those promises are broken along with their heart and their hopes.
But, they shouldn't cry over them for long. Even if you can't be with that someone, you won't be alone. You'll still have everyone else that supports you.
I've been foolish.
I'm not alone.
