2008 is the year of the Rat. So what are people under this animal like? Well, Rats are a thrifty lot that will honestly see all of their ventures through... even if they are doomed to fail. Quick-tempered and full of angst, the lifestyle of the Rat is to live for today. Despite their restlessness, they are quite the profitable lot and it's usually due to their extreme imagination. Full of charm and charisma, the Rat is also quite shifty, as gossip is a favorite cheese for them. Because of this, they scheme often... sometimes the schemes make a profit. Rats are also sentimental lovers, even if that love is one-way affection. Because the heart's affairs make a happy Rat. But be advised that sometimes, shifty behavior may lead to an early demise.
In the game of love (aside from other Rats), a good companion is found in the Dragon, for the Dragon will match the cunning and strength of the Rat. Oxen are good love choices for Rats as well, because of the strength and protection that is given. Lastly, Rats are enchanted by the playfully mischievous Monkey. The worst partner for the Rat of course is the Horse and a Fire Horse will damage the Rat even more. Rabbits are also dangerous to the Rat.
Lastly, I will now do the Pokémon that best suits this animal. And the best one to suit our Rat is of course Rattata.
The female Rat will stockpile things that she doesn't need, only to use them right away. The male Rats will do the same, and money earned from his schemes are quickly spent or wasted. I used the shiny version of the Rattata on the male, though both of these colors are used on both genders. Also note that the whiskers on the male are longer than the female's whiskers.
