It was a face off... Them against us and I swear to the Gods I was not going to lose. I don't care how much ground they had over us, or how strong they claimed to be. I know who I am and where my ties are and I'll be damned if they thought they knew better.
I stood in front, blue eyes glowing in anger at these people who had given us so much of a headache... Had wasted so much of our lives, even if it was by mere hours of depression and frustration. It was time we were never going to get back. Behind me directly was my loving fiancee, a person who was stronger then I could ever hope to be... Which made me wonder why I was the leader. To my left, one sister; next to her a man who was a brother, even in the short time we knew each other; to my right the other, her own partner by her side.
It was a face off, the sky dark and the wind picking up with uneasing speed. I couldn't tell who had caused it...
Before me stood the leader of their group, their ring leader and the cause of all that had happened. I glared at her, one who was supposed to be a friend and a sister... I couldn't wait until I could hit her. Behind her was her "puppy" a man who looked like the character she had fallen in love with... A normally sweet guy, I hated him now too. One either side were the instigators, those who kissed her a**.
It was five against four, but that didn't mean we were winning. It was a face off until the first one moved... I'm a patient b***h, so I could hold out. Seemed she couldn't, so I was glad for the one virtue I held dear despite my claims. She moved first, sending in her troops with a battle cry, claws raised.
I held up my sword, the blade stone and full of power. It wanted blood. As I dropped my arm my own troops went running foreword as I ran to meet her in a final showdown. We would win.
