We dissected frogs today in science. I had Latreal for my partner. When my teacher said to cut the skin, I couldn't cut the skin for some reason with the scissors. :XP: Latreal cut the skin and then I cut the muscle.
We saw the liver. and the heart first. For a second, I thought the liver was all the organs, so I was almost dissapointed. I didn't expect the liver to cover the stomach and large intestine.
The heart was shaped like the valentine's hearts. That was pretty cool looking. Latreal and I had to lean down to see the lungs because we didn't cut high enough because of the sternum.
When we cut the liver out, the small intestine seemed to just... jump out at me. It was wierd. I was trying to sever the ligaments conecting the liver to to the bone, and then the large intestine just appeared. I nearly cut my ungloved hand! (Odd, I just looked at that finger before I typed that. xd )
Then my teacher said class was almost over so we had to throw away our frogs. Seriously, that's what we did! Then Latreal accedentaly spilled frog guts on my arms. That was gross.
Then I went to my next class.
