12.
Risha stared at the dust. She waited patiently, eagerly, for it to clear. When it did she smiled with satisfaction at the empty spot where Tyren stood. She then noticed there was no body on the floor with the chunks of broken rock. She looked around trying to find him.
"Lookiong for me?" said someone from behind her. She would've turned around to face him, but she could clearly feel the cold edge of Tyren's sword pressed against her neck.
"H-How did-"
"How did I survive?"
"Yes"
"Risha, Risha, you still have alot to learn. It's not impossible to dodge that simple attack, especialy when you had your eyes closed."
"Well?"
"I first thought of jumping high into the air, but the I decided warping behind you would be easier. It seems my idea pulled of. You can't possibly excape now, since I also took you sword."
"Smart, but-"
"But what?"
"You forgot one thing."
"What is that?"
"My Power!!!"
Risha closed her eyes and focused her energy on the wind. Tyren was thrown back by a sudden gust. Risha then released the energy and resent it toward the earth. Vines came up and binded Tyren. A flower sproted and released pollen. Tyren suddenly fell asleep. Risha smiled at her work and walked toward him.
She drew her sword and stabbed his heart. Tyren was released as he fell limply to the floor. Risha lifted her arms in victory as the army cheered. A peircing wail came from the east, as one lone person stood in the middle of the street. The soldiers went after the small child. Risha had won the battle at Lix. She
turned around and left.
Rolik ran with his company to grab the lone child. He saw the ten year old boy look up at the band of soldiers. They walked slowly toward him, moking him. Rolik had no intentions in wasting his time on a lone child. He walked to the porch of an abondened home and sat, watchin the soldiers. They got
near the boy and one grabed his hand. The boy started kicking and screaming.
"Hahaha, look at him." said one soldier.
The boy stared at the man and said, "How dare you mess with me, Nahan, king of Asernia!!!"
The child kicked the man's gut, and fell to the ground. The soldiers took out their swords, other soldiers saw, and came to sorround the boy. Soon, he was outumbered one to ten thousand. Nahan put his two index fingers toghether and seemed to concetrate on something. Soon, white flame came and burned
the whole lot of soldiers, all while being crushed under rocks falling from nowhere. Rolik jumped up, scared. He took off, hoping not to be seen. He ran out the gate, and bumped into the wierd girl. Quickly he recounted the events that happened.
The girl swore, "We have taken the city, but all our soldiers were killed, and they lost only a tenth of their army!!!"
"However," said Rolik, panting, "They lost their king."
"Yes, you have a point."
Nahan had wasted alot of energy in killing the soldiers. He walked back to Tyren's home with his dead body in his arms. He creaid all the way there, missing his only sibling. He vowed to avenge Tyren. When he finaly arived, after seventeen days of walking, he thought of how to break the news. Melani
along with the children were sure to feel sad. He walked up the hill toward Tyren's home and was startled to see smoke. He ran up the hill, and saw that the house had been on fire. He fell to his knees and cried to the heavens. Nahan made camp under a tree near the burnt house and slept.
Risha walked back to her room, trying to keep her robe from falling of. She had slept with Golk every day for a while. She had grown to love only him. There was no one else that cared and loved her like him. She left Golk's bed early that noght to get ready for another attack. They were going to attack
the Northen army base. With Tyren gone, it would be an easy task that would surely end the war. She walked into her room, and slipped out of the robed into a more appropiate attire. She walked to her bed and layed to sleep.
The following day, Nahan was awoken by a loud moan. He got up and looked around, seeing no one. He looked around him, but still, there was no evidence of anyone there. He finaly turned his head toward the burnt house, and saw a light. Slowly he walked toward the source of the light. Halfway
he noticed the wailing was in the opposite direction. Confused, Nahan walked into the old house.
Edoth was confused, he tried to call Nahan several times, but he wouldn't answer. Edoth decided to go find Nahan himself. He linked his handheld CPU to Nahan's. Instantly, a red dot on his map showed where Nahan was, at Tyren's house. Edoth was going to go on his mototrcycle, but then decided
to take his horse.
Vist and Jospen rode quickly to catch up to Rorin. They had no idea where they were going, only that, for some reason, they had to follow the light. They first saw it around midnight. Rorin was the one who said they should follow it. And they did.
Drokiem went to visit Melani and her children, like he did any other day. He often went to help around the house, or check on Tyren's lab. However, that day, while walking toward his home, he saw a light shining in the night. He picked up pace and ran toward the house.
Risha was awoken by a sudden light. It broke into the bedroom from the window. She pulled back the curtians, but the light still shone. Suddenly, Risha broke down crying. She started wailing in pain. Golk ran in the room, and grabed her. He looked like a rabbid dog. Risha stared, fittened. He put a
gentle hand on forhead. The light fanished and she calmed down. Golk carried her and laid her down on her bed. She fell asleep.
Eliazor stood at the door of his small home. He stared at the light for awhile, wondering what it was. After a minute, or so, he decided to go find out, there might even be something worth stealing. Eliazor grabbed a few objects and grabed a horse before leaving to find out what was there.
Rolik was startled when he heard the suden wailing in the palace. He ran to the door, sword in hand, waiting for someone to burst in. Whne no one did, he opened the door slowly, and looked around. He then noticed the bright light. He fell to the ground, unable to control himself. His body started shacking
incontrolably. Rolik started moaning in his mind, since he couldn't open his mouth. He had to know what the hell was happening. He tried to get up, but was forced back down. He tried once more, but fainted.
Suzar was with his men, including the new recruit, Jasar, when they saw the light. Quickly, they armed themselfs and marched toward the light. They didn't know why, but they had a suspicion they had to be there, wherever there was.
Shion saw a huge light outside his window. He was about to ignore the whole thing when he realized that the light came from the fields. If he remembered right, there was nothing out there. That had to mean the south was out there, planning to raid the village. Shion grabed his new sword, his only sword
and his armor. He ran out the vilage to see what was happening.
Nahan arrived at the burnt down house, as well as amny others. They stood around looking at the burnt ruins. Nahan still was trying to make out where the light had come from. Finaly, he saw. In the middle of the house was Sorl, Tyren's dragon. He was shining. Someone next to him gasped, Drokiem.
Nahan followed his gaze and saw the dragon holding something, an orb no bigger than a marble. The dragon took flight and landed next to Tyren's body. He touched the body the orb. A great flash was emmited. Nahan closed his eyes due to the brightness of the flash. When he opened them again, there stood Tyren
alive and well. He walked over to Nahan, staring directly into his eyes. Nahan walked foward slowly, then ran and hug Tyren. Tyren hugged him back, and Drokiem, as well as Suzar. He was smiling, until he saw his home. His expression changed from on of a person happy ti be back, to one who was facing death. He fell
to his knees and cried to the heavens, cursing it and everything below it.
Risha was about to fall asleep again, when she was awaken by a sudden flash. She got out of bed and closed the window. Suddenly, she heard cries, yells. Someone was cursing the heavens, and everything below it. She walked back to bed, ignoring the noise, thinking it must be another drunk within the city.
She fell asleep, thinking of how Melani looked when Rusha killed her children, and her by burning them alive.
Tyren cried himslef to sleep, everyone else stayed by his side, beside for Eliazor. He left with a few things from Tyren's house. He took a few trinkets Tyren made, a few notebooks, and the bodies of his loved ones. He rode toward the Belzeh Canyon, and dropped the bodies into the canyon.
