Today I changed my avatars gender, since old items are slowly being unisexed, and we all know I'm a sucker for a guy in drag. But wen I went to my inventory, to dress myself up purdy, I noticed how hard it realy was geting a gender swap! I had expected to just put my old clothes on, and be alittle more buff, bigger legs and arms, but no, it was much difrent. It got me to think, how hard would real life be after a gender change? If you suddenly just changed you're gender for fun, could you walk home and wear all you're old clothing? Would half of it fit you're new male body, would you be shocked to discover how you looked in you're favorite dress? Would you be appalled at how female make up looked on you're new masculine face? Or would you have the time of you're life, and run around in fish nets and Sasuke boxers?
My avatars transition in to its new male gender was interesting to say the least. My avatar is very feminine, wearing ruffles, and lace, and frills, and many skirts! So you can imagine my despair wen I saw my male self in my favorite winter rose dress, I looked so fat! gonk
I have to rebuy my favorite hair, which is also very feminine, and I've seen it many a time on males, so I know that will look okay, but difrent. I havnt seen how my gaia friends will react yet, my gender is usualy questionable, since I switch back and forth to refering to myself as male or female. But I'll update this another time, probably tomarow after some shoping, and seeing the reactions.
