My Pain
Pain and suffering, all around
The test of time is cruel
We suffer slowly through out life
But to what ends?
What do we acomplish in life?
To what should we aspire?
You mock me so with your harsh words
My tears fall silently
No notice is taken but that is normal
Is it not?
Hit me all you want, I feel no pain
A raised hand can never amount to
The damage caused by a spoken word
Why can't I please you?
What do you expect of me?
I'm alone, I'm safe, but still sad
Tears fall silently, there is no peace on earth
Perfection is an enigma
These words don't reach your ears
My cries, My pleas, My tears
Which is better, I ask desperatly
Sad, safe, and alone, harming myself?
Content, in pain, with company, being hurt by others?
Ice is cold, but your eyes are colder
My pillow is stained with tears
Tears fall silently
