Today in theater class we did Suzuki. I'm not going to explain exactly what it is, because even I don't know exactly what it is. XDDD But it's something we do so that we can feel connected to the group? And how to strengthen our intention? And I guess it means something different to everyone?

So in Suzuki today, three people had break throughs. I was so jealous, but proud of them. I want to be able to do that. It looks terrifying to surrender and not suppress emotions, but I think it will be amazing once I finally get it.

One of the things is called Hamlet and Ophelia, after the Shakespeare characters. It's a little hard to explain without visual aid, but I'll try. So, there's two people. They stand on opposite sides of the room. They aren't exactly across from each other, but when they walk forward, they're in parallel lines.

So, they slowly walk forward, their intention is on the wall. Then, at some point, their intention shifts to the other person. When they both get close enough, they have to physically touch somehow. They walk in a semi circle and when they're back to their original place where they met in the circle, their intention shifts back to the wall. They head back to where they originally were. Then, at some point, their attention shifts back to their partner. And then it's over when they both stop walking and their attention shifts to their partner.

Well, one of the girls did it all three times today. gonk I wanted to get to do it so bad... But I'm proud of her! And the last time she did Hamlet and Ophelia was with the teacher. It... was... so... AMAZING! *cries happy tears* So so so so so so so so amazing. The entire room was filled with... *is going to sound so theatrical right now, don't make fun of me* the energy! It's, like, this energy that you get when there's a really amazing theater production or something... it's inspiring and wonderful and... and it just makes you want to be a part of it. I want to get to do Hamlet and Ophelia next time! crying Because I really really wanted to do it this time...
