JOURNAL HEADER!!!
Today I had a chance to ramble around my old house.
My old, pink, two story house.
My old house INFESTED WITH ENOUGH HAUNTS FOR A CERTAIN DISNEYLAND ATTRACTION. biggrin

Now, sit closer tergether, an' keep yer ruddy 'ands inboards, me lad and or lass(ies).

So this is the story: apparently my mom was driving down our old street on business when she passed our house and noticed it was in heavy disrepair. It was also vacated and had a large "OMG THIS BE ME PROPERTIES" sign in front of it with some realtor's name below.

So, to those of you personal mental haluccinations unnaquainted with my loverly house, here's the details. It was built in the 70's and bought by my grandparents immediately afterwards, then painted by them a horrendous shade of pink. For some reason. Guess they liked pink. neutral
Anywhey, my mom was going through some divorce troubles, and her father agreed to vacate the place and let us live in it for rent. And so we came upon the termite-infested pink two story beast. Living in what used to be a Native American hotspot in Southern California, we're pretty sure the place was built on huge Indian burial grounds.
And ODD STUFF BEGAN TO BEGIN. Strange smells would flit about. The hundreds of pictures around the house were always tilted; no matter how many times my mom readjusted them, they were tilted when she looked back. My sister confessed to hearing voices and whispers, especially near the upstairs balcony room. Items seemed to disappear and reappear at random when we weren't looking, and the cord for our computer mouse was somehow torn in half one time when we left for a restaurant. Even Saiyan can vouch for me on this (yes, UUUU surprised ): she saw shadows of people on the walls, a strange phantom dog, and was even momentarily locked in the bathroom once while no one was there.

So eventually my mom remarried and made enough money for a condominium. Of course, before we moved the last few things out, she and my sister found themselves running around the place chasing a moving scent that smelled EXACTLY like the one my deceased great-grandmother donned. The women in my family have always been strongly gifted with spiritual sense, by the way. They felt very heavy negative energies quite constantly in the house, while I found it to be quite cosy.

Well, I'm starting to go off on a long and tedious spiel now. THEREFORE, I shall tell the rest of the story tomorrow, in BACK TO THE FUTOR, PART 2.
