Last night I was talking to Amy-la..
And we got on the subject of me,
And what's going on with Clarence.
Well,
I went ahead and told her all about what he's been telling me,
And how he just goes back over to Dominique,
And just ignores my existence,
And everything.
After talking for a little while,
She helped me realize--
I don't need this.
This is a bunch of..
Well,
s**t,
That I just don't need in my life.
I don't need to be feeling down because of what he tells me,
And then does differently.
So,
All of today was AMAZING,
Simply because he wasn't on my mind.
I just didn't think about him,
Or Dominique,
And everything was suddenly brighter.
I was able to be happy,
Because he wasn't on my mind.
I never realized how much he brought my mood down until today.
Well,
Unfortunately,
He made a little contact,
And it only ticked me off.
He handed me a folded piece of paper.
I unfolded it,
And read it.
It was a Horrorscope,
Of Cancer being with a Cancer.
[Since we're both Cancers.]
I read it over,
And put it back into my pocket,
Pushing it to the back of my mind.
So,
When I got on the bus, he asked me if I read it,
And I told him I did,
And he told me how that "proved" him right.
I said "Whatever," and took out my iPod,
When he grabbed both headphones.
I demanded them back,
And he said I looked cute when I was "standing up for myself".
I told him that I didn't care, and demanded them again.
And, he responded with "Why not?"
I then proceeded to tell him how I was sick of everything,
I was tired of his games,
I was sick of thinking about him and Dominique,
And I told him that I was through with this.
He then asked questions,
And I gave him my reasons,
And eventually he gave up and looked out the window the rest of the ride.
