this was inspired by me doing the same exact thing...except that i was with my sis and bro. xP;;

anywho, announcement: I SHALL BE LEAVING FROM THE END OF MAY TO THE BEGINNING OF AUGUST. IF U DO NOT GET REPLIES TO UR PM'S DONT FREAK. JUST WAIT. i may come on every once in a while during that time, but dont really count on it...

So, Veggie came over. it was fun. we went shopping..and i like chinese food. ='D

Roleplaying

25-year-old Demon Prosecutor Miles Edgeworth made a running start then jumped spectacularly over his couch, landing perfectly on his feet with his ‘cape’ trailing behind him. Pesu, who was lying on the couch, yelped up to her feet at her master’s actions. Miles then proceeded into playfully jabbing Pesu with a Styrofoam sword, which Pesu decided to bite on. “Have at thee, ye fiend!” he declared, withdrawing his ‘blade’ and jabbing it again at Pesu, purposefully missing.

Being able to do what you want when you want to do it is one of the better perks of having your own apartment to live in. Not that he would ever admit it to anyone, but Miles Edgeworth has always been prone to childish behavior every once in a while—he was human too. Living in the von Karma mansion made such a thing impossible, but now…

Now he was able to run around and roleplay without anyone scolding him. The only one who knew of this strange habit of his was Pesu, and his dog wasn’t exactly about to tell the whole world about it…as long as they don’t invent translators for animals…

Nonetheless, this afternoon found the Demon Prosecutor wearing an old bedcover as a cape with a Styrofoam sword in hand, jabbing at his dog (and missing purposefully) while spouting old-English lines in which he’s some kingdom’s prince, trying to save it from the Evil Warlock Pesu. Pesu, for the lack of better knowledge, simply tried over and over to bite at the sword.

Games like this one finished in four ways: either Miles got bored from playing and left, Pesu got bored and left, something broke, or Miles fell and hurt himself. Although…

…It was getting somewhat old. Pesu never learned the concept of the game no matter how many times they played, and Miles knew that he wasn’t about to either. Also, part of him longed for someone who would roleplay with him, but…
Miles Edgeworth was a man who valued his reputation. Anyone finding out about this could be disaster.

That is why, when the door bell rang, Miles froze (Pesu took the opportunity to finally get a bite on the sword). He eyes widened slightly in momentary panic, then he quickly regained his composure and strolled to the door, asking, “Who is it?”

“Uhm..It’s me, Phoenix Wright,” the reply came.

Joy, Miles thought sardonically, but out loud he replied, “One minute!”

He then proceeded to the couch to snatch the Styrofoam sword away from Pesu and then hide it and the bedcover away, but…

This was Wright. Phoenix Wright. And Wright has always been a good friend to him no matter what the circumstances. Wright also had a playful side to him…and it didn’t seem like the Fey girls were with him…Miles stood frozen in his place, brows furrowed in thought. He did own an extra Styrofoam sword and a Styrofoam shield for those times where he felt like playing the warrior. An extra bedcover could be easily found in the closet somewhere…but would it be safe to trust Wright?

A hesitant knock interrupted his thoughts and Miles quickly made up his mind. Still donned in his cape, Miles store purposefully towards the door and proceeded to open it.

…They had fun until four in the morning and never even touched the work that Wright brought with him.
